For most musicians the larger the audience the better, but for Julie Bloch there’s nothing more satisfying than an audience of one.

Bringing the “live” music experience to a population for whom attending a concert poses certain difficulties, Ms. Bloch travels South Florida’s tri-county area playing both popular and classical favorites on the violin for seniors in residential communities for birthdays, anniversaries, and also holiday wishes. Her degree in Music Therapy provides her with an understanding of how meaningful music can be, especially when the program can be tailored to the listener. To that end, Ms. Bloch has begun this service she calls ViolinSerenade.

Of course, Julie is often engaged for a full concert for an entire facility but she finds a real satisfaction in offering one on one, personalized concerts to celebrate a special event or to mark a milestone in a person’s life.
