Premier Homecare Services has been operating for over seven years and is an accredited agency with Accreditation Canada (a third-party who sets national quality standards in health care). We provide Vancouver seniors with affordable, private, in-home care to allow them to remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible, with our compassionate care and personalized services. Our focus is on respect, family communication, professionalism, best practices, safety, satisfaction and community involvement.

We place a high priority on client and employee safety. In fact, we have a system that requires the caregiver to notify us by telephone when they arrive and leave the client’s premises. We conduct a thorough screening process with each employee including background and business reference checks and provide comprehensive orientation training. Our employees wear uniforms and photo ID badges and are supported 24/7 by supervisory staff. They are First Aid/CPR trained, bonded and insured. Caregivers are matched with client needs and provide a variety of services. We have specially trained staff for dementia care, disability assistance, palliative care and much more. The following is a short list of some of the services we can provide:

• Light housekeeping, laundry, linen change
• Meal planning and preparation
• Companionship, shopping and errands
• Personal care, foot care, and medication reminders

We offer reduced rates for longer hours, and personally introduce the caregiver to the client (if you don’t like the caregiver, you can request another one).
Our caregivers are insured and bonded, and they have credentials from accredited programs.
Scheduling is done by the local office itself, not a call centre.
