For 20 years I have been a live-in companion to a senior, now entering a facility. I seek a similar position with a senior, male or female, in good health, who would be comforted knowing they are not alone/who wants a reliable, kind, thoughtful companion who will be around for them.

John feared becoming ill/falling and being alone for days before anyone noticed. I was his "angel in the house", providing company and the comfort of being there if anything untoward happened.

John has a live-out housekeeper, part-time nurse and gardener. I had no assigned cooking, cleaning or nursing functions.

I am: female, mid-fifties, raised in a cultured British home; reliable, honest, personable; a full-time college instructor repeatedly nominated by my students for Instructor of the Year. I love classical music, reading, walking, animals (no pet intimidates me). I do not drink, smoke or gamble.

My presence gave John 20+ years, living worry free with dignity and freedom in his own home.
