We need a live in care giver for a Retired Pastor that has had a stroke over 15 months ago. He is now bed bound due to a fall and the nursing home has dropped him from rehabilitation because he did not respond as quick as they would have liked him to. Then they also dropped him from restorative care due to Medicare not willing to pay for it. So now he just lays, the Dr said he has the starting of Parkinsons. We need someone who will stay in the home for room and board with a small salary (either a Strong man or a Strong woman) because he is over 6 ft and weighs 170. Toiletry, bathing, physical therapy, medications, Feeding and more.
We can only afford to pay what we are paying at the nursing home as pay which is 500 a month but all of your food and housing is taken care of and you are able to take a part time job some place else as long as it is at night time and does not infringe with the time we need you there. No drinkers, smokers, or drug doers.
Must be able to pass background check as well. You will be living about 35 miunutes from Gatlinburg in Beautiful Smokey Mountains. We need someone Long Term.
