KinVillage Care Home

At the KinVillage Care Home, we work hard to make people living here feel like family.

Each resident has a private room and attached ensuite powder room style bathroom. Assisted bathing is provided in special bathing rooms for extra safety and comfort.

Hairdressing services are available on site
A wide array of recreation activities are hosted by our on-site Recreation staff.

Delicious food made with love is prepared fresh daily in our kitchen. A dietitian is available to address special food needs.

Full laundry service is also provided on the premises.
We have a visiting dentist, foot care nurse, hearing clinics and a visiting optometrist.

Recreation:

Department goal- Our staff use a client centred approach with our residents. We look at cognitive, physical, emotional and social functioning to determine leisure needs, interests, abilities and challenges to assist in achieving the resident's goals. Using Gentlecare as our philosophy of care, our Recreation programmers work hand in hand with other team members to design, implement and evaluate an individual program plan

The staff to patient ratio is the highest that can be funded by the health region. Our philosophy of Gentle Care is one of the things that sets the KinVillage Care Home apart.

For residents needing special care we have an 18 bed special dementia care unit.
