Keep Fit as We Age
In recent years there has been a change in conventional attitudes about activity levels as we age. We all know we should be active to stay healthy but why exactly is this important to you personally. Following are the benefits to exercising as we age.

Top Ten Benefits to Exercising
Look better
Good for your brain
More energy
Maintain or lose weight
More regular bowel movements
Sleeping Better
Fun, socialization, better mood
More coordinated/ faster recovery from injury
Avoid or postpone chronic diseases e.g. Diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, arthritis
Strong muscles mean independent living and mobility

The common thread through these benefits of exercise is quality of life. Exercise won’t guarantee you perfect health but it will give you a fighting chance to age gracefully, independently and perhaps a little longer.
