ASSESSMENTS:
People can live over 20 years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. My job is to help increase quality of life for the families during the time left. Using ergonomic training, body language analysis, emotional pattern recognition, and cognitive capacity evaluation, I will integrate a plan for clients, caregivers, and families.
INTEGRATED CARE:
When caring for a client, I use an integrated model that takes into account the home environment, body health, emotional stability, and mental stimulation. This allows for hopeful and effective solutions to emerge at the interfaces of these different perspectives. I work with the body to release tension and free emotion, and as a way to help the mind. By remaining emotionally nonjudgmental, I help to capture the emotion that lessens needless body tension, while allowing the mind to form new patterns. I help stimulate cognitive training and self-observation while creating emotional flexibility and opening new physical possibilities.
