Exceptional nurse or sim to manage every aspect of care and rehabilitation for woman made dependent by stroke at her home in Vancouver. Skills required are very different from hospital nursing. This is a challenging but rewarding half time position. Salary according to applicant’s ability.

Minimum requirements:

+Assessing needs: Physical and Mental Stimulation, Recreation, Medical;
+Schedule Stimulating Activities eg: Swim, Garden, Music, Travel;
+Recruit & Supervise Care Aids. Training: Transfers, Lifts, Dementia, Nutrition;
+Coordinate Care Team: Care Aides, Agency, PT, OT, Doctors;
+Manage Diet, Housekeeper, Money;
+Show Genuine Compassion to be Accepted by Client;
+Maintain Trust of client: Accompany on Outings, Work alongside Care Aides;
+Reachable outside scheduled hours: Troubleshoot Agitation and Emergencies.
