At Carefor Health & Community Services, we provide services for people of all ages and all stages of life. Our charitable, not-for-profit home health care organization stands by the same mission we've had for over 110 years, allowing us to proudly offer a wide variety of accessible home care and community support services that meet the individual needs of the communities we serve.

Many of our services can be provided in the comfort of our client's home, retirement facility, or in a local community setting! We have three conveniently-located offices in Ottawa, Pembroke and Cornwall as well as other sub offices and initiatives throughout the Champlain District (Ottawa, Renfrew County and Eastern Counties).

We're making a difference in the community. Our extensive basket of programs and services is especially designed to meet the diverse needs of the people in Champlain district.

Our skilled staff works closely with clients, caregivers and members of the patient's health care team to deliver a flexible plan of care that is crafted especially to meet each person's individual needs. Logging over 265,200 hours of personal support work, more than 83,200 nursing visits and just under 15,000 flu injections every year, the hundreds of dedicated staff at Carefor Health and Community Services are committed to upholding the values and ethics that have made us such a well-known and trusted organization. We also have well over 1,000 volunteers across Eastern Ontario assist Carefor with numerous initiatives, such as the Meals on Wheels programs, various seminars on menopause and elder abuse prevention as well as education workshops on various health topics.
