Horticultural Therapy (HT) uses plants and the natural world to improve the social, spiritual, physical and emotional wellbeing of individuals who participate in it.

The Canadian Horticultural Therapy Association registers horticultural therapists through a Voluntary Professional Registration process.

The registration process is explained in a Sample Registration Form which you may access by clicking here.

Communication is via a bi-monthly newsletter and this web site.

Workshops and conferences are organized - see our website's workshop pages for details.

We have set up a national registration procedure, and are in the process of establishing HT courses at a number of educational institutions
