The Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly (CARIE) is a non-profit organization, based in Philadelphia, that has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for vulnerable older people for over 32 years.

CARIE fulfills its core mission to improve the well being, rights and autonomy of older persons through advocacy, education, and action through a "case to cause" model of advocacy that serves to promote equal access to justice and addresses problems and issues on both the individual and the systemic levels.

A fund used to help resecure the homes of older Philadelphians who are victims of crime or abuse.

Advocacy service to help resolve problems and complaints related to the Philadelphia Shared Ride program or CCT-Connect.

Help for People in Nursing Homes and Personal Care Homes
Complaint resolution and resident rights representation for nursing and personal care home residents living in north, central, south, west and center city Philadelphia.
Pennsylvania SMP (PA-SMP) Protecting Medicare and Medicare beneficiaries from health care fraud and abuse.

“An Abuse Prevention Training Program” teaches long term care staff abuse prevention techniques. “Creating an Ethical Culture for Long-Term Care” is designed to educate and assist long-term care practitioners in making ethical decisions.
